| Method of Administration | Tracking Powder: Rats are known to groom themselves intensively. Running over the powder, rats pick up the product with their fur and than ingest it during cleaning and grooming. The product should be scattered around burrows and on runways of rats or around bait stations. Individual baits can be mixed, offering a food source the rats are used to. Liquid: Rats need to drink every day. Therefore offering in dry environments such as grain mills, the rat can not resist the liquid bait. Paste: This new formulation is until now the most attractive bait matrix available worldwide and ideally suited to farm environments. The bait will not mould, become rancid or begin to smell, even in hot and humid conditions like composts. Due to its excellent palatability rats ingest high quantities at the first meal, which makes the paste as effective as a single-dose product with the safety profile of a multiple dose product. Baits: Place the baits for various consecutive days on rats walkways, between burrows and on places where rats are used to eat until no more bait is consumed. (On average 1 rat eats 10 % of its bodyweight daily). Continue to refill stations ideally on a daily bases. About 250 g per bait station every day as long as feeding activity is visible is recommended. The quantity of bait stations depends on the rat population / infestation density. |
